Birch Champeon

Bible Translation Software Developer

Union, Maine

About Me

Birch Champeon has focused the past 18 years on developing software to assist with Bible translation and has worked in S.E. Asia, South America and Africa training nationals to use technology in their Bible translation projects. This year he moved to a new Bible translation startup, unfoldingWord, where he is able to focus on developing technology training that enables national churches to train their own people to do Bible translation. In addition to training in technology, he has conducted training for national colleagues on numerous topics including time management, men's ministry, and family issues. He and his wife, Connie, have twin sixteen-year-olds. Much of the time they are able to travel as a family and minister together.
