Re-entry & Culture Shock: How To Be Sojourners

It isn't easy to go to a new culture, but it isn't easy to come back either.

About This Workshop

The concept of culture shock has become more familiar but even experienced missionaries are often shocked by their response to coming back“home.” Abraham was called to be a sojourner and so are all of us as believers. How can you have an effective ministry while on the field and when you re-enter your home culture? What is your responsibility as a returning (short-term or long-term) missionary? What is the gospel centered response to never being able to really return home again? This will not be an introductory session. A summary of the pertinent information will be provided to read ahead of time so participants can come ready to discuss their questions and concerns.
